EGATIN 2012 - Study-Days, Lisbon - April 27th-28th

Egatin2012_CartazThe Portuguese Group Analytic Society, will organize the European Group Analytic Training Institutions Network 2012

We will have the great oportunity to ear Morris Nitsun the author of "The Anti-Group". Jane Campbel IGA "Co-director". Zoe Voyatzaki, the EGATIN "Chairman", Paula Carvalho the local "Chairman" and Sara Ferro the president of S.P.G., will honor us with their presence in the opening session.

This training activity will take place in the beautifull and romantic city of Lisbon, in the stage of one of the icons of the Portuguese psychiatric hospital activity, surrounded by wonderful gardens, the Hospital de Julio de Matos.

Under the subtitle of "Love, Pasion and Intimacy in Goupa Analysis", 2 days (April 27-28th) will take for a reflection about the "determinants and restraints of our present life, our way of living and our way of thinking about life". The feelings underlying individuality and group activities, such as respect, conflict, love and insecurity, may reflect the eternal and (re)criative game when "Eros is always playing with Thanathos".

You can see it here and here.

Message from Mário David Portuguese Group Analytic Society, Groups Delegate to EFPP

Dear Friends and Colleagues!

Lithuanian Group Analytic Society and Vilnius University invites practitioners, teachers and students of group analysis and group psychotherapy to the 4th International Summer Conference in Dubingiai, Lithuania on 6 – 8 July, 2012 "Different Homes for Group Analysis".
Group analysts work in a wide range of contexts with a wide range of difficulties and problems applying the method to a variety of problems and life situations. Working with the different patients and clients in different settings requires from us to widen the knowledge and experience in applied group analysis. How can the borders of group analysis be widened?
LGAS invites professionals working with groups in different settings using group analysis to share and discuss their understanding of the group processes. We invite to submit proposals for the plenary lectures, optional workshops and also the proposals to conduct small discussion groups and the large experiential group. Deadline for submission is 15th of November, 2011.
